Making a Claim
Step 1
If you believe you have any type of insurance claim, you will initially need to contact your insurance company/broker and register your claim within the time specified within your policy. Then contact us by one of the options shown on our contact us page. We can then arrange to discuss your claim and how we can deal with your insurance company on your behalf.
Step 2
During our visit, we review your insurance documents to confirm your insured status and validate your claim. We also explain our services in more detail and describe how we operate.
Step 3
We then assess the problem, complete a full report, and prepare a schedule of works, which we submit to your insurance company. This report details all necessary repair work. You won’t need to gather any quotes, plumbers’ reports, or photographs; we handle all of this during our initial survey.
Step 4
If the insurance company send a loss adjuster to your property to validate your claim, we will meet them on site with our schedule of works and discuss the work required and agree settlement.
Step 5
Once the work has been approved, our tradesmen will arrange a convenient time to start the repair work. All our work undertaken is guaranteed.
Step 6
When the work finishes, the project manager conducts a quality check of the property to ensure that all scheduled work meets our standards.
Once we both confirm satisfaction with the completed job, we will ask you to sign a satisfaction form. We then send a copy of this form to your insurance company, which we will invoice for our services.
PLEASE NOTE
We invoice your insurance company directly for all repair work we complete, ensuring a smooth process for you. Additionally, we carry out all reinstatement work on a like-for-like basis, exactly as outlined in your insurance policy. For convenience, we provide paint charts, wooden floor samples, and skirting board samples for you to select from. You can simply call or email us with the product code or colour once you’ve made your choice.
Importantly, the only payment required from you is your insurance excess, which you’ll need to pay us directly.
We cover all parts of the UK and specialise in Essex, Kent, London and Suffolk and all surrounding areas.
