MAKING A CLAIM

Making a Claim

Step 1

If you believe you have any type of insurance claim, you will initially need to contact your insurance company/broker and register your claim within the time specified within your policy. Then contact us by one of the options shown on our contact us page. We can then arrange to discuss your claim and how  we can deal with your insurance company on your behalf.

Step 2

Upon our visit, we will need to see your insurance documents to confirm that you are the insured and to validate your claim. We will also explain our services in more detail and how we work.

Step 3

We then look at the problem and complete a full report and a schedule of works which we submit to your insurance company. This details all the repair works which will need carrying out. You do not need to get any quotes, plumbers’ reports or photographs as we will deal with all of this in our initial survey.

Step 4

If the insurance company send a loss adjuster to your property to validate your claim, we will meet them on site with our schedule of works and discuss the work required and agree settlement.

Step 5

Once the work has been approved, our tradesmen will arrange a convenient time to start the repair work. All our work undertaken is guaranteed.

Step 6

When the work is finished, the project manager will do a quality check of the property to ensure all the scheduled work has been completed and to our standard.

Once we are both happy with the completed job, you will be asked to sign a satisfaction form. We send a copy of this form to your insurance company whom we will invoice for our services.

PLEASE NOTE

We will invoice your insurance company directly for all the repair work we complete. All our reinstatement work will be carried out on a like-for-like basis as stated in your insurance policy. We will provide you with paint charts, wooden floor samples, skirting board samples to choose from and you can simply ring or email us with the product code or colour.

The ONLY payment payable to us by you, is your insurance excess. This will need to be paid to us directly.

We cover all parts of the UK and specialise in Essex, Kent, London and Suffolk and all surrounding areas.
